Hi Wayne, Thanks for the heads up on where to find the roadmap; I'll have a good look through it.
Getting an MCAD plugin before FOSDEM would be challenging. I could shoehorn yet another exporter in a matter of days but a working plugin system would require some thought on how to expose some of pcbnew's internal data to a DLL. I have a working external tool based on OCE and it works ok for exporting STEP assemblies but there's something wrong with my IGES export - but that's OK since STEP is the better model to use.
