I'd say try to find a place for user configuration. If a feature exposes a
serious bug somewhere in the system, it's not fault of the feature, but
the system... OpenGl VBO/FBO will solve the bug some day. Also is it
needeed to draw all of the 22000 features to full precision? I don't think
any other CAD draws all the nails and Torx screw heads in a skyscraper
model when in full view mode, even though they are in the model ;)
