I was able to erase the content of the SVN repo at sourceforge.net. After doing that I disabled it for general use. But as we have learned, disabling it does not prevent someone from reading from it. However, now it will come up empty during a checkout.
The package maintainers will now have to dig a little, for understanding, and update their build scripts to use bzr against launchpad.net.
