Hi, I tried it, but the performance was still abysmal. I find it unusable. Scrolling and zooming are one frame per second and it really disrupts anything that you are trying to do.
A friend of mine, who is a Mac lover, created this for testing, it's made with "winebottler" and works acceptably. I just fired it up at the same time as your custom one to compare performance with the same machine load/available cpu time and it is really night and day. Excuse the win UI.
