Whoops sent too early... I was saying... why don't we use the SCH_COMPONENT::GetRef (if I understood the code it even walks paths for complex hierarchies) instead of getting through GetField(REFERENCE).GetText() when we want to use the 'full' reference? It would remove the special case from GetText (since in fact the subpart id is not part of the reference but of the component). -- Lorenzo Marcantonio Logos Srl
