When I last looked, launchpad's blueprints did not support discussions. Do they now? Without that I found them pretty worthless. >> >> >> "" A bug is a description of a problem, and a blueprint is a description of a solution. The project has never suffered from lack of ideas or direction, only from lack of lines of code. Those come from qualified man-hours. More than enough wishlist items, blueprints and suggestions. Keeping track of them seems to have no effect on lines of code per month. >> >> That is a project with funds from many companies, so it's a different story, they can have 6 months release cycles, with commitments and goals.., anyway I find the blueprints a good idea as a WIP / solution discussion offload from the list. >> >> >> >> Miguel Angel Ajo Pelayo >> http://www.nbee.es >> +34 636 52 25 69 >> skype: ajoajoajo >> >> >> 2013/9/13 Felix Morgner <[email protected]> >>> >>> I think this would be a very good idea, since I often struggle to keep up with feature propositions/developments via the mailing list, so definitely +1 for that from me! >>> >>> Felix Morgner >>> >>> Am 13.09.2013 um 09:08 schrieb Miguel Angel <[email protected]>: >>> >>>> Hello, >>>> >>>> I've been watching other opensource communities around launchpad lately, and I discovered that they make heavy use of blueprints, to keep track of new features and it's related work. >>>> >>>> Are we using it right now?, ( https://blueprints.launchpad.net/kicad ) >>>> >>>> If you find it interesting, I could propose myself to cuddle them a little, I could make a cleanup of what we have now, and then register about the current work. >>>> >>>> This way we can keep better track of suggestions, ideas, and the work that gets done, or that it's yet to be completed. >>>> >>>> If you think it's worth, please tell me. >>> >>> >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers >>> Post to : [email protected] >>> Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers >>> More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp >>> >> > > > _______________________________________________ > Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers > Post to : [email protected] > Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers > More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp >
