Thanks Cirilo, the links provided need "lists.launchpad.net" to be added for obvious reasons... Regarding automation, Python scripting might be a good way to do it. I think there are methods to manipulate components on board already and OpenCV has Python interface. Clive listed a set of additional features to make working with schematics easier and these may be something to do with the current PNS router.
