Color in pcbnew however takes a lot of time to set up :P:P in the past I've seriously considered to add 'layer visibility setups', like in zuken; they are useful when switching step in the workflow (placement/power routing/routing/cleanup/checking). > No sure. > Having it in home directory is not so bad: > When installing or creating this file we know exactly were it is. > This is useful to edit it by hand (it is not in a hidden directory). > This is not a config file like .kicad or .cvpcb. > It is a default file used in all kicad projects. Even in the .config you know exactly where it is; and it's not in the way in the home directory. However that's a minor point really (microchip does it worse, it fills the home with junk log files and non-dot config files; the big price however goes to draftsight which puts the internet configuration settings in *wherever the cwd is when starting it*) -- Lorenzo Marcantonio Logos Srl _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
