Hi folks, Is there any reason to have the 3d models in the kicad-library repository? They are tied to footprints actually, so why no putting them alongside? I think it would make for a much cleaner library.
Also, when retrieving a footprint from github automatically, it could pull the model as well. If it makes sense, is anyone familiar enough with the github plugin to chime in and give an insight on the work that would need to be done? Regards, Carl
