I vote for setting KISYSMOD and KISYS3DMOD. I don't use the git plugin so 
KIGITHUB isn't interesting (to me).

The launch agent Jean-Paul mentioned works. Of course what will happen is that 
you'll get a new machine and forget how the environment variable got set.
