Hi Benoit, Just expanding upon Wayne's answer, the way you would remove wxWidgets 2.8.12 development package on Ubuntu would be
sudo apt-get remove wxwidgets2.8-dev or sudo aptitude remove wxwidgets2.8-dev I do not recommend modifying the CMake files to remove features. There are command line switches to turn on and off nearly everything in the build files. Especially as a beginner looking to start development, I think it is best to modify the build behavior with the command line switches as compared to modifying the file.
