We updated most of the machines at home to Yosemite, including the command-line
build tools. When I pulled the latest Kicad BZR on one and went to build, I got
a complaint about not being able to find "glew.h" So I simply did a make
clean/make/make install of glew and then Kicad built without issue. I haven't
worked with it enough to see whether any particular usage issues have cropped
up, though.

I do not use Mac Ports or Homebrew or any of the other package managers, as
they seem to bollox things up more that I'm willing to deal with. So I went out
and got all of the prerequisites, built and installed them, and that all seems
to work well. I should probably go out and see if any updates to them are
available.
