Yes, but I agree with Carl, creating 2 new layers (and modifying current code in Pcbnew) for a so specific and temporary use is not very useful. ECO1, ECO2, adhesive layers (rarely used) could be temporary easily used for this purpose. I am perhaps wrong, but I am thinking to show an image of existing PCB on these layers is only temporary, and this image will be removed from the final board, after placing footprints and routing them. > > - Cirilo > > On Sun, Nov 9, 2014 at 12:23 PM, Carl Poirier <[email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > > Cirilo, > > I tried your patch. Yes but not to any other layer: Edges cut, courtyard layers and some other cannot be used because they have a special meaning or special properties, and therefore using them to put a logo on them is a bad idea (bad idea = bug reports, later) > > Regards, > > Carl Regards, -- Jean-Pierre CHARRAS _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
