I don't believe they actually do anything so I'm fine if we remove the menu entries at a minimum. If no one is going to maintain or develop this code further, I'm OK if we remove it. After the stable release, I would like to see the all of the unused code removed from KiCad. It just makes things more confusing than they already are.
