I was bored so I tweaked the IDF plugin so that it can also render IDF assemblies:

I'd still like the '3d_initial_merge' branch merged after I've cleaned things up a bit since it will give bleeding-edge users a more usable 3D properties editor dialog and also start shaking out any remaining bugs. - Cirilo
