For GUI translators task, we need to download source code tarball to obtain strings in the GUI. On GitHub, we could download every committed rev as tarball by one click. On Launchpad, it seems that only tagged rev can be downloaded. If POT file for GUI is provided for every commits, maybe, GUI translators do not need to access mirror, though. Best regards
