Okay, footprint part is going to take longer than the original forecast. Bit...tricky to get a footprint render from within eeschema.
Suggestions welcome for the best way to do this, code structure-wise. kiway could do it if kiway could produce individual widgets instead of only entire standalone wxFrames, but I don't think it's capable of that. And the last thing I want to do is go digging around in kiway.
