In the 3 x 3 radio button matrix you can simply implement some 
horizontal+vertical alignment selection with a single click:
(use a monospaced font)

[ ] upper left   [ ] upper center   [ ] upper right
[ ] middle left  [ ] middle center  [ ] middle right
[ ] lower left   [ ] lower center   [ ] lower right
