I've noticed that this behavior can also be triggered by first selecting a component text field (such as the reference) and then while holding SHIFT either clicking the component it belongs to or using the selection rectangle. It seems to have been this way since a long time back, and is still like this in the master branch as of today, May 10. Doubly-selected text fields will move twice as far when the selected items are moved. Best regards, Joakim
