Hi, I use KiCad for some while now, but I only recently noticed that there is a “zoom to selection” function/button in the right toolbox. Don’t know why, maybe because of an icon change.
I guess the main reason that I didn’t notice it before was that I just didn’t expect it to be in the right toolbar with all the schema, PCB, etc. related (drawing) stuff. And, in contrast having all the other zoom buttons in the top toolbar. Attached a patch that moves “zoom selection” into top toolbar next to the other zoom buttons. It further slightly switches buttons so that all zoom buttons are next to each other:
For my taste it makes much more sense like this. However, if there are good reasons against it or many don’t like it, then just ignore it… :) Regards, Bernhard
