Hi all, I've just pushed Kristoffer's Copy&Paste feature for pcbnew and the footprint editor. The feature is available only in GAL canvases and activated by standard Edit menu entries and keyboard shortcuts.
I hope all the bugs have been fixed by now, but in case something doesn't work, please file your complaints on the bug tracker ;-) Kudos to Kristoffer for his hard work!
