Hello devs, sorry for boring with these terminology issues (again). Some recent commits have replaced many, but not all, occurence of the component term with the symbol term.
Is the component term still valid? If the answer is yes, where (I mean, in which circumstances is to be used component instead of symbol)? If the component term is completely banished from KiCad, I can supply some patches to replace these last terms.
