Oh, I didn't know about it.
I saw in the links you sent that there were some issues with rotation
and undo/redo. This was also my main struggle. Hopefully I had it
working, at least the basic stuff.

I think oliver walters did start with something similar but did not
get it finished before the feature freeze.
I am not sure if he plans on continuing his work on this. (I fear his
other responsibilities ensure that he has no time for it.)
