I wanted to try Kicad on my Win98 machine and I brought the software home only to have it immediately tell me "Will not run on Win98". Are you saying there's an earlier version that might work?
Now let me tell you about my laptop with Win95 on it... Actually that's the one I program the microcontrollers on and for that, it's still working OK. I don't expect it to do anything new.
