I'm trying to switch from Autotrax to Kicad. Sofar the transition has been fairly smooth although its hard to get used to my PCB package not crashing all the time...
One problem I'm having is creating new components. When viewed on screen I see a little blue tickmark centered on the text ( Name & Value ). When printed, parts supplied with Kicad print this little tickmark as a, well, little tickmark. Parts I have created, the tickmark is about the same height as the lettering itself.
