The 45º button its ok, i think the problem could be that it tries to
simplify(?) my drawing.
If i try to draw a rotated square like
/\
\/
the tool eraeses the 1st and last lines and only 2 parallel lines remain
(in this "draw" the erased are the two /).
If you want i make a screenshot of the step by step for getting this.
