Hi Derek,

Thanks for your response.  I had tried the "Compile" button earlier 
but just to make sure I tried it again.  It made no difference in 
the assignments to the original assignments that were made to the 
component pads.  These assignments were made when I first created 
the design and nothing seems to change them.

By the way, what is the function of the "Compile" button in 
the "Read Netlist" dialog box?
