Hello All,

I just want to share a small problem I detected when creating a symbol
with multiple parts.

When creating symbols using convert mode I have found two problems:

1. inserting new pin on multiple parts does not keep "common to unit"
attribute.

Explanation:
1. Create new symbol with multiple parts (i.e 2 Units)
2. Switch to Unit B
3. Add new Pin
4. When the window of new pin appears (keep unmarked the "common to
unit" property.

Problem: You will notice that the pin was also created in the Unit A part

How to Correct: a. Edit pin property on the Unit B and mark the
attribute "common to unit". b. hit OK c. Edit pin property on and
unmark again the atrribute "common to unit". You will notice that
the pin now will only appear in the unit B

Explanation: I think It is possible that the window initialization
does not have a default value on this property.

2. When using the block commands (i.e. copy) on each unit it applies
to all units.
Explanation:
1. Add new pins on Unit B (on "Convert mode") and keep unmarked
common to pin property.
2. Use the block command and select the new pin
3. Use the command "copy block" and copy to another location

Problem: You will notice that the pins are also copied in the Unit A
nad other units.

How to correct: Do not use the copy block function on Each Part
individual edition.

I just want to include this two items, I don't know if you have notice
this before or it only happens in my computer ( I have tryed in two
computers and I get the same results also in Linux and Windows). Also
in the new Release Candidate on Windows.

If you where aware of this problem I appologize for including it.

I hope this information helps to keep improving this great software.

Best Regards,
