Well, Jörg, EAGLE seems to be only marginally better. There one could MOVE segment endpoints, which is identical to "Move Node" in KiCad. In EAGLE one could also MOVE the segment itself, but it's done the wrong way, causing other segments attached to its endpoints to change directions, wit a lot of hard work needed to correct it. The way how it should work is approximately as in Pulsonix or PCB Elegance: none of the segments involved ever changes direction, and they just keep changing length to preserve connectivity. With a real Online DRC, of course, which simply does not permit dragging a segment past the conflict edge position, unlike the Online DRC in KiCad which works only while drawing traces for the first time, and not at all later when dragging them. The limited free version of PCB Elegance can be downloaded from http://www.mercoelectronics.com. These all seem quite "minor" objections compared to 3D views, but in reality they degrade productivity very much. Regards, Sinisa
