Hi,

I am not sure to understand your problem. But if you have a copper
area on your print and you want to create a window without copper in
it, you can:

1) Delete the zone but not the limits (boundary).
2) Create the shape in it.
3) Fill the zone outside your windows shape.

(Tested on 2007-01-15 version)
