I am working on a project at present involving a network. This involves making up a set of three or more identical boards.
I will not be sending any gerber plots off to a manufacturer, instead I will be using an ink jet printer to produce a mask for use in a UV box to go down the photoresist path. All home production stuff. Anyway I would like to be able to put the same board layout into a master board layout multiple times so that I only need to manufacturer the one board (this saves cutting up blank boards to the right size etc.). Is there anyway of doing this with kicad that makes the job easier than effectively cutting and pasting blocks containing the original board layout. Moving individual blocks around to get spacings right and trying to optimise board usage is proving very error prone.
