Hello All,

I'm not a real big user of Kicad, the reason may be that the gui is very
confusing. I started out with express PCB I thought it was great, very user
friendly. The reason why I stopped using it was that it wouldn't produce Gerber
files. I then moved on to PCLogic the gui was very similar to express pcb and
it also had an auto router. Unfortunately it is no longer available. Then I
moved to RIMU pcb. I still use it today; very friendly but no auto router and
it has been some time since updates.

I have tried Kicad several times and given up. I go to PCBnew and place
components but at this point I would be looking for a rubber band connection.
Then I would place an outline around my footprints/pcb and tell the auto router
to route the board.

At this point I do not care about schematic or even naming the pins/connections
on pins If I put a rubber band there let it route.
Is this possible with kicad now??? If so are is there a tutorial on this??

Thank you

Victor
