Like most schematic packages each part needs to have a reference
designator U1, U2, R1, etc (not U?). Next to the Netlist generation
button is a auto annotate button which will pick U, R, C numbers for
you or you can set each one by hand using edit each component but no
duplicates. If you don't care just push the annotate button.
