Currently we use Mentor Design Architect as schematic tool and Mentor Board Station for layout. An additional Board Station licence is expensive, and I want to evaluate Kicad for layout of simple boards i.e. 2 / 4 layers prototypes or the like. To keep a link to our existing component library and part number system I want to continue to use Design Architect as schematic tool and import the netlist to Kicad. How do I do that?
