I have been using KiCAD (latest SVN version) for a few weeks now (Windows and linux) and almost completed my first board but I have a few questions (PCBnew):
- how do I move a trace from one layer to another? Let's say I have a trace between two vias and I need to move this trace to a different layer. I erased it and redraw it but after a while this is tiring. - how do I delete a trace? Backspace should do it but it does not. Any trick to doing it? Right click and selecting from the dialog works but too many steps. - Board cleanup function (from menu) crashes program. A bug? - Micro vias only allowed between two neighboring layers? Regular vias are front top to bottom, through all layers. Is this correct? - when DRC is ON and something is not allowed it should at least sound a beep or something to let user know about the problem. I should probably report some of these as bugs but I do not know how to do that yet and I am sure that developers are reading this, so... MK
