I've migrated all of my projects from eagle to KiCAD, there is nothing in eagle cad that I am missing. I don't do a lot of auto routing, but I tried the auto routing in KiCAD, and I found it to be sub optimal, unless I'm just not doing it right? The documentation on the subject was poor at the time.
My current project is four layers, fairly dense mixed signal and I'm having no issues with KiCAD. The out-of-the box library is fairly minimal, however on the KiCAD yahoo page, there are a number of add on libraries, and there are a number of them scattered around the internet. There was an eagle import tool kicking around at one point, I believe I still have my imported eagle cad library kicking around somewhere. --Mike > > Am 21.08.2008 um 01:30 schrieb Michael Shiloh: >> >> Hi Lothar, >> >> I tried the pre-compiled version of freeCAD and it worked fine.
