Hi, I want to create pads with a pad drill size of 1 mm and a pad size of 1.8 mm (round shape). So, the first thing I did was switching from inches to mm.
When I type in the values 1.0 and 1.8 for Pad DrillX and Pad Size respectively in the Pad Settings dialogue box, the system accepts the values. However, when I place a pad with the new values and then I edit the path, the values for the pad drill and the pad size are not any more 1.0 and 1.8, but 1.0008 and 1.8009 mm respectively. Why this change? I know it's not a lot, but when the gerber files will be generated, I assume those values will be taken into account, not my 1.0 and 1.8mm. Will this not give problems when making the PCB with a PCB supplier? If it's not an issue, then fine by me, but I want to be sure of it... Best rgds, --Geert
