Hi there I am pritty new to Kicad and I have developed a couple of circuits. However, not all the components I require are in the default library.
I have found the components that I need on the web site. For example on - http://www.kicadlib.org/Fichiers/Ludek_libraries.html However, I cannot work out how to make use of these files. I have tried downloading and placing in the module/library folders in the installation directory. I can view the footprints in module editor if I choose to import but that is all that I have achieved. I have looked for tutorials on this but can't seem to find anything. For example how to do get components in "new libraries" to appear in Cvpcb listing and also in eeschematic? Regards David
