Ok I figured out a workaround - but as I am new to kicad - there's something i am curious about.
I needed to edit/create some new 3D packages for my project, so I go into wings and create the part (molex 22-20-2031) and i make it the size that the spec sheet says it is. I assign the part to a module and view in 3D and the part is HUGE - I finally figured out that there's a scale feature in kicad. here's my question - what am i missing ? All of the other parts that come with kicad are a lot smaller than their specs sheets say they are (at least according to the scale settings in wings3d) - I'm not sure if this is a kicad thing or a wings3d thing but it's very confusing. any insights ???
