it's ok, I found the problem: I was using a surface mount diode in a
3-pin SOT23 package, but somehow the 3-pin diode part I made
disappeared from the library, so Kicad reverted to the standard 2-pin
diode part, but cvpcb had been told to use a SOT23 package.
