Yes. There are two ways. Linux can do a lot of conversions and Windows needs Ghostscript to be able to convert files. You can't "do" anything with the files after conversion. It's just for documentation purposes. KiCad can write ( plot ) Postscript and PDF files. I really recommend you to spend time with the library and module editors. These two tools are very important when introducing new components. Also, please share the new symbols so others can use them as well.
