[kicad-users] Keep-out areas or no-fill areas

Is there any way to prevent the fill function from filling areas when
creating components? I have some mechanical parts which I don't want
to mount onto the GND filling. The only way I can see to achieve this
is to define keep-outs for the individual GND plane. Or is there any
other way to do it?
