I've used KiCad for a couple of years and generally I manage to find

was the WinXp version - I've not got around to reinstalling the Linux
version yet.
While I was routing a PCB adding tracks and making mistakes as normal,
I found that when I was deleting tracks or segments, sometimes OTHER
tracks and segments that I was not working on would also delete.
Rather annoying to say the least.
Has anyone seen this behavior, or know what causes it? It could be
something at my end so I'm looking for some clues
