Hi, I have created a simple design of a stereo circuit. At the top level there are two instances of a hierarchical sheet and 5 connectors hooked up to them: 2 inputs, 2 outputs and a power connector.
The netlist was made, reference designators are all unique, good foot prints assigned and all is fine except in the layout tool. The ground sides of each connector has a net on them, as expected, but none of the inputs, outputs or the power have a net between the connector and the rest of the circuit. (No net is assigned to the pin on the connectors.) I used hierarchical symbols for these signals. They are on the lower level schematics and the top sheet. Any clues as to what I am missing here? All in all, I am very impressed with the tool and have come a long way to being productive in just about 6 hours. Broh.
