the gerber file (below) was generated by the "eagle" tool (i believe,
i did not produce the design) and then hand edited by me to remove
all flashes except the board outline, which evidences the problem.
the outline is rectangular with a large rectangular notch cut in the
top edge, the corners of which should be concave (the centre point
is outside the board) rounded with a 90 degree arc.
when i examined the file/data using the on-line gerber viewer
(http://www.gerber-viewer.com/default.aspx)
all seems well.
when i load it into gerbview, the expected 90 degree arcs of the
notch corners are replaced by the 270 degree complement.
