HI Kicad users, Am Sandeep Working as a PCB design engineer. I Hope this mail reaches the developers of this tool as i din I am seeing Kicad is improving day by day with many more features added to it appreciate the good work by the team :-) Congrats!!!
I feel a very few basic requirements which needs to be added to the tool are. 1) Getting the properties of every track & via when selected like (via size with drill info, track width with length and net name ) in a separate window. 2)Ability to add different drill sizes for different via. 3)Shortcut to add and edit via paramaters and short cut to blind and buried vias also. 4)Ability to set different constraints for differnet region like BGA and fine pitch components. 5)Ability to measure distance from anypoint and any object on the board. 6) Length matching ability should also be improved for the purpose of high speed boards. 7)Adding a footprint Wizard will be very helpful in building up libraries. 8)Adding measuring tool in footprint library also. 9)Adding editable lines is a great feature.
