hi. in using gerbview to review externally generated (i.e. not from pcbnew) gerbers and manually editing same for a bug report, there are a couple of features that would have been really handy:
1. the ability to delete a block of data. e.g. select a block of stuff to move in the usual fashion but use delete key as signal to just eliminate the data instead of moving it. (i think it'd also be useful in eeschema and pcbnew) 2. the ability to re-export gerber data from gerbview. admitting that i've not looked at the source code to see the internal representations used and whether or not there is any linkage to source maintained, i realise this one might take quite some doing. the only output now is back to pcbnew, and that does not preserve arcs properly. thanks for it all gang! hwn
