Oh! is that all,
just shove some  1pin connectors on the cct and connect that to the power
net, you can then place the connector on the PCB wherever you want and
use it as a pad.

One thing, I prefer to modify the pad settings for the 1 pin connector,
so that I have more copper and a smaller hole.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by assigning powers to modules, that's
all done via eeschema so there is nothing to assign in cvtpcb. You should
find that when you run pcbnew you will see the powerlines in the ratsnest

(Sorry if I've still got hold of the wrong end of the stick, perhaps you
could explain a little more)

You can get into a bit of a muddle if you
design your own libs and modules and get the pin names and numbers out of
step, which can cause all sorts of errors
