Things got more confusing after I unzipped the downloads from Waco.

I have the following file extensions:
  1) .cgr (for Catia)
  2) .prt.1 (for Pro-E)
  3) .IGS (for IGES)
  4) .SLDPRT (for SolidWorks)
  5) .STEP (for STEP)

I've just installed Blender and have experimented with trying to import each of
these into Blender (out of desperation), but there is no success.

The file extensions seem to be wrong for Pro-E and it certainly does not work.

Any ideas of what I can do next?
