Hello Andy - OK. 12MB download.
Is this an addon for the standard library or is the standard lib not uptodate? I don't know what is correct. I found a schematic symbols browser app but not an footprint browser. How is this handled correctly? If I understood it ALL the 12MB tgzed libs need to be configured in kicad setup dialog? So, how to I find a particular object in that mass? Kicard nether crashed the last days. That I like it. But with the libs I don't know. Another question: How is it possible to add another layer in the BRD editor? For example, if I scan a already made PCB to get the coordinates of devices. And then this PNG should be translucent behind the actual BRD worksheet to optimize positioning of the new devices. So I get a stackered additional interfece PCB. Hope I was understandable ;-) Thank you! - Henry Andy Eskelson schrieb: > Goto: > http://www.kicadlib.org/ > > at the bottom of the page there is a link to Pierre Launay search engine > Which seems to be quite good. > > Using that and entering minimelf it gives several results. > One is from the kicadlib site.
